I am super happy to finally have my certificate from the APP conference that I attended back in June. The certificate serves as a reminder of such a pivotal week in my career. Makes me smile looking at it remembering my time with the rest of the volunteers (love you guys!). I took 14 classes in total while I volunteered.  Courses that I took focussed on aftercare, sterilization, and piercing techniques. I sat in on classes instructed by Elayne Angel and Luis Garcia, two of my favorite piercers, as well as other incredibly talented people (too many to name).  APP conference has been the catalyst in my desire to better myself as a professional.  I’ve since been seeking out opportunities to continue my education. Even getting a chance to attend the Fakir Intensives in San Fransisco this upcoming week.  I’m so thankful to be where I am in my career and I’d like to think I owe a lot of it to my first experience at an APP conference. I’d like to thank Caitlin McDiarmid, Kendra Jane Berndt, and Ryan Ouellette for choosing me for the Shannon Larratt scholarship provided by Industrial Strength.
