I had the pleasure of attending another awesome seminar this time at the beautiful new Freyja Piercing studio in Maryland. The energy in the room was fantastic, and it was great to connect with both familiar faces and new piercers alike.
The day was packed with educational content, led by none other than Ryan Ouellette, whose classes always offer something valuable, no matter how many times you’ve taken them. We covered:
๐น A foundational anatomy class to sharpen our understanding of piercing-safe practices
๐น An in-depth look at nipple piercings, focusing on technique and healing
๐น A refresher on septum piercings (which Iโve taken before, but always find something new in!)
๐น And an insightful conversation around daith piercings, their challenges, and ongoing misconceptions
These types of educational gatherings are such an important part of staying sharp in this industry. Iโm always grateful for the chance to learn, connect, and grow with others who are just as passionate about piercing as I am.
Back to Bound for Glory Tattoo soon. Recharged and ready to bring the knowledge home to Staten Island. See you all in the studio!
