Piercing: More Than a Passion, It’s My Profession
What started out as a personal passion quickly evolved into a lifelong career. I didn’t just fall into piercing as a hobby or side hustle. I dedicated myself to learning, practicing, and mastering this craft. Over the years, I’ve attended countless seminars, workshops, and industry conferences to elevate my skills and stay up to date with best practices, new techniques, and health and safety standards. This is my full-time job, and I take it seriously.
A Deep Commitment to Continued Education
My professional journey includes attending the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) Conference year after year, as well as Camp APP and specialized seminars on everything from genital piercings to needle improvement. I’ve had the honor of learning from and alongside some of the most respected names in the industry. I’ve also facilitated classes, taught seminars, and shared my own insights with others in the field. This isn’t a weekend gig; it’s a career I’ve built through two and a half decades of consistent investment in myself and in the quality of service I offer.
Piercing Is My Livelihood, Not a Side Hustle
When you book an appointment with me, you’re not supporting a big-box chain or corporate franchise. You’re supporting a working professional who has spent decades developing their skill set. Piercing is how I pay my bills, keep the lights on, and support my life. I’m not on salary, I don’t have paid time off, a 401k, or health benefits. I get paid per service, and when clients cancel without notice, it directly affects my income.
Every Appointment Matters
Each appointment represents more than just time. It’s a financial commitment. When someone cancels last minute or doesn’t show up, I lose both the time and income for that spot. I earn half of the piercing fee and none of it if the appointment doesn’t happen. That’s why I have a clear cancellation policy and why I ask clients to respect it.
Respect for the Craft
Being a full-time piercer means putting a great deal of emotional, physical, and mental effort into every client experience. This includes prep, cleaning, sterilization, setup, aftercare education, and follow-up care. It also means continuously investing in high-quality jewelry, safe materials, and sterile tools. My workspace is designed to meet the highest health and safety standards so that you feel secure and supported throughout your appointment.
Let’s Work Together
If you’re looking for a professional piercing experience grounded in expertise, trust, and integrity, I’m here. I’m not clocking out to go to another job. This is it. And I’m proud of the work I do.
