When Bound for Glory Tattoo moved to its new location, one of the first things on my to-do list was making sure everything was up to code—not just for comfort and function, but to meet the strict safety and hygiene standards set by the Association of Professional Piercers (APP).
That meant reshooting our studio walkthrough video, documenting every part of the new setup to ensure full transparency and compliance. The walkthrough is a key step in APP membership, which requires ongoing education, sterilization practices, and rigorous documentation—not to mention a clean and safe environment for every client, every time.
I’m proud to say we met every requirement and received our updated APP certificates!
Even with a new space, the commitment to safety, education, and professionalism remains the same. I’m still Staten Island’s only APP member, and I’m honored to represent our borough with safe, ethical piercing services that follow the highest industry standards.
