It means I’ve met (and continue to meet) the highest industry standards when it comes to health, safety, jewelry quality, and continued education. What APP Membership Means

If you’re new to piercing or haven’t heard of the APP, here’s the short version: It’s the only organization of its kind dedicated to ensuring safe, professional body piercing around the world. Membership isn’t given—it’s earned.

As a member, I am required to:

  • Offer only implant-grade, biocompatible jewelry
  • Use verifiable sterilization practices (I proudly use a SciCan Statim 2000 G4)
  • Stay certified in First Aid/CPR and Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Keep learning through ongoing education and conference attendance

This is a real commitment to safe, responsible, and beautiful piercings.
