I just returned from spending four unforgettable days in the woods of Georgia for the second annual APP Members Retreat, and wow—what an experience.
This retreat was everything I hoped it would be: intimate, inspiring, and incredibly rewarding. I had the opportunity to take nine different classes, each packed with insight and knowledge from some of the most respected and skilled piercers in the industry. The smaller setting made a huge difference—it created space for real conversations, deeper connections, and the chance to really learn from and engage with other members.
I’ve attended APP Conference for years and love the energy of those big events, but there’s something truly special about the quiet, focused energy of retreat. Whether we were in class, sitting around a campfire, or sharing meals together, this event reminded me of why I love this industry—and why community matters so much.
Feeling recharged, humbled, and beyond grateful for the chance to be part of something like this. I’m already looking forward to next year and all the amazing experiences it’ll bring.
