This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending another incredible piercing seminar at Black Lotus Tattoo Studio in Baltimore, Maryland. The seminar was taught by none other than Jef Saunders, and it covered techniques and best practices for Daith, Rook, and Tragus piercings, as well as an introduction to the basics of going fully disposable in a studio setting.
It’s always inspiring to learn from someone with such deep experience and passion for the craft. I walked away with a handful of new ideas and techniques—especially when it comes to marking piercings more efficiently and performing them with greater precision.
As always, the best part of these events isn’t just the classroom—it’s the community. I got to hang out with some of my favorite piercer friends and connect with even more new faces in the industry. These experiences fuel me with excitement and inspiration, and I’m already looking forward to the next chance to keep learning, growing, and sharing.
