I’m back from the 21st Annual Association of Professional Piercers Conference, and as expected—it was amazing.

This year I took 14 classes, diving deep into technique, safety, jewelry, and studio practices. Every session was a chance to learn from some of the most respected professionals in the industry, and I walked away inspired and motivated to keep pushing myself and my work.

On top of attending classes, I once again had the opportunity to volunteer—this time as part of the AV team. If you know me, you know I have a serious love for tech. Setting up projectors, connecting laptops, managing classroom tech—it was right up my alley. And yes, I even had to touch an iPhone. If you’ve followed my journey, you know that’s a running joke, but hey, I survived. (Barely.)

Volunteering keeps me busy, but it also gives me the opportunity to give back to a community that has done so much for me. These events aren’t just about the education—they’re about connection, and I truly value the time I get to spend with my peers and friends from all over the world.

Already counting down the months until we get to do it all over again.
