Last weekend, I carved out a few hours to sit down and retake my Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) certification exam. With my current certification set to expire on the 22nd of this month, staying ahead of the renewal was important to me—both for myself and for the safety of every client who walks through the door.
The training included two hours of in-depth video material, covering everything from pathogen transmission to proper sterilization protocols. I’m proud to say I finished the course with a perfect score on the exam.
As a member of the Association of Professional Piercers, maintaining current certifications like BBP and First Aid/CPR isn’t just required—it’s essential. These certifications are part of the foundation of my practice, ensuring I’m up to date with the best safety standards in the industry.
Next year, I’ll be due to renew both my BBP and First Aid—and as always, I’ll be ready.
Your safety is always the top priority here.
