This privacy policy explains what information is collected when you visit ipricku.com, how it’s used, and the choices you have. This site is run by Paul, a professional body piercer working from a private studio space at 607 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310. When this policy says “I,” “me,” or “my,” it means me.
Information you give me
Contact form. When you send a message through the contact form, I receive your name, email address, subject, and message. I use this only to reply to you. I don’t add you to a mailing list or sell your information.
Text messages and email. If you text or email me, I’ll have your phone number or email address and anything you send, and I use them only to talk with you about your appointment, piercing, or question.
Comments. If you leave a comment on a blog post, your name, email address, comment, and your IP address are saved. Comments may be checked by an automated spam filter. Your email address is never shown publicly.
Information collected automatically
Cookies and browser storage. This site uses a small number of cookies and browser storage to work properly, for example to remember that you liked a post or to keep me logged in when I edit the site. These don’t contain your name or contact information.
Like buttons. When you tap “Like” on a blog post, your browser remembers it so you can’t accidentally like it twice. To prevent repeat likes, the site also stores a scrambled code made from your network address and device type for 30 days. This code can’t be used to identify you, and it’s deleted automatically.
Site statistics and security. Like most websites, the server and its tools may record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site secure, block spam, and understand which pages are helpful.
Other services this site uses
Some parts of this site are provided by other companies, and they have their own privacy policies:
- Online booking (book.ipricku.com): appointments are booked through a separate booking service. Information you enter there is handled under that service’s privacy policy.
- Jewelry shop (shop.ipricku.com): purchases and accounts are handled on my separate shop site, which has its own privacy policy.
- Google Maps: the map on this site is provided by Google, which may set cookies when it loads.
- Embedded content: some pages include content from sites like Instagram or YouTube. Embedded content behaves as if you visited that site directly, and that site may collect data about you.
- WordPress tools (such as Jetpack by Automattic): used for site features, spam protection, and statistics.
Who I share your information with
I don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal information. I only share it when needed to run the site (for example, with the companies listed above that host or power its features), or if required by law.
How long information is kept
Contact form messages and emails are kept only as long as needed to help you, plus a reasonable time afterward in case you have follow-up questions. Comments are kept as long as they’re published on the site. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just email info@ipricku.com. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features (like remembering your likes) may not.
Children’s privacy
This website isn’t directed at children under 16, and I don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, contact me and I’ll delete it.
Your in-person paperwork
The forms and ID you provide at your appointment are handled separately from this website and are kept private and secure as part of your client record.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed.
