Your Piercing Appointment Step-by-Step
Consultation & Jewelry Selection
When you arrive, we’ll start by going over details about the piercing(s) you’ll be having done.
This includes:
- Discussing placement options
- Going over jewelry choices
- Making sure the piercing works well for your body and your individual lifestyle
Together, we’ll walk through high-quality jewelry options like implant-grade titanium or solid gold jewelry that are selected for proper healing and long-term comfort.
Placement & Marking
Before anything is done, I’ll mark the placement so you can see exactly where the piercing will sit.
This step is important, and we’ll take the time to:
- Make adjustments if needed
- Ensure proper alignment
- Make sure you’re comfortable with the final placement
Nothing moves forward until you’re happy with how everything looks.
The Piercing Process
Once everything is confirmed, the piercing itself is performed in a clean, controlled environment using sterile, single-use tools and hand-crafted needles.
The process is quick, and I’ll guide you through each step so you know exactly what’s happening.
Most piercings take just a few moments to complete.
Aftercare & Next Steps
Understanding the piercing healing process is just as important as the appointment itself, and I’ll walk you through exactly what to expect.
This includes:
- How to clean your piercing
- What to avoid during healing
- What’s normal vs. what to watch for
You’ll leave knowing exactly how to take care of your piercing.

Downsizing & Follow-Up
Many piercings require a downsizing appointment after the initial swelling goes down.
This is an important part of the healing process and helps:
- Reduce irritation
- Improve comfort
- Support proper healing
I’ll let you know when to come back based on your specific piercing.
A Clean, Professional Environment
Your appointment is handled with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
Services are performed using proper aseptic technique and high-quality jewelry designed for body piercing.
I follow safety standards supported by the Association of Professional Piercers to ensure every procedure is provided as safely as possible.
